TERMS OF SERVICE — THE REWEAR EDIT
These Terms of Service govern your use of The Rewear Edit website and purchases made from The Rewear Edit.
By accessing our website, placing an order, selling or trading items to us, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referred to within them.
1. About The Rewear Edit
The Rewear Edit is an Australian preloved fashion business specialising in the resale of curated clothing and accessories.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, products offered for sale are preloved and may show reasonable signs of previous wear.
2. Product Descriptions & Condition
We take reasonable care to inspect, photograph and describe each item as accurately as possible.
As our products are predominantly preloved, individual items may have signs of wear consistent with their stated condition.
Where we identify a noticeable fault, mark or imperfection, we will endeavour to disclose this in the product description and/or photographs.
Customers should review all available photographs, descriptions, sizing information, measurements and condition information before purchasing.
Colours may vary slightly from photographs due to lighting, photography and individual screen settings.
3. Sizing
Sizing may vary between brands, styles and manufacturing periods.
Any size stated in a listing is based on the item’s label and/or measurements provided by The Rewear Edit.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the available sizing and measurement information before purchasing.
Our policies regarding change-of-mind and incorrect-fit purchases are contained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
4. Availability
Most items sold by The Rewear Edit are unique, one-off pieces with only one unit available.
Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee that the item is reserved or available until checkout has been successfully completed.
In the unlikely event that an item is unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate refund.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be changed at our discretion before an order is placed.
The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed and agreed to at checkout, subject to correction of genuine errors and applicable law.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
6. Orders
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where there has been an obvious pricing or listing error, suspected fraudulent activity, payment failure, or an item is no longer available.
Where we cancel an order after payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled item will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Orders are processed and shipped in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Delivery estimates are estimates only and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights
Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains our policies regarding change-of-mind returns, sizing and other returns.
Nothing in these Terms of Service or any other The Rewear Edit policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where goods fail to satisfy an applicable consumer guarantee, customers may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
9. Selling & Trading Clothing to The Rewear Edit
The Rewear Edit may offer customers the opportunity to sell or trade eligible clothing and accessories to us.
Acceptance of items is at our discretion and may depend on factors including brand, condition, style, demand, seasonality and our current inventory.
Customers will be advised of the applicable offer before deciding whether to proceed.
Customers must have the legal right to sell or trade any items they provide to The Rewear Edit.
Once an offer has been accepted and the agreed cash payment or Rewear Credit has been issued, ownership of the accepted items transfers to The Rewear Edit.
Once ownership has transferred, The Rewear Edit may price, photograph, advertise, discount, bundle, promote or resell accepted items at its discretion.
The eventual resale price of an item does not affect the amount previously agreed with the original owner. No additional payment or credit will be owed if an item is subsequently sold for a higher price, and a lower eventual selling price will not reduce any cash payment or Rewear Credit already issued.

10. Rewear Credit
The Rewear Edit may offer Rewear Credit as an alternative to cash payment for eligible clothing and accessories accepted by us.
Where offered, the Rewear Credit amount may be greater than the equivalent cash offer.
Customers will be informed of the applicable cash and/or Rewear Credit options before accepting an offer and are free to accept or decline the offer.
Rewear Credit issued in exchange for accepted clothing is valid for 12 months from its date of issue.
The applicable issue date and expiry date will be communicated to the customer when the Rewear Credit is issued. The 12-month expiry condition will also be disclosed before the customer accepts Rewear Credit as payment for their items.
Rewear Credit may be used toward eligible purchases from The Rewear Edit and may be used across multiple purchases until the available balance has been used or the credit reaches its expiry date.
Once Rewear Credit has been selected, accepted and issued, it cannot subsequently be converted into cash except where required by law.
Any unused Rewear Credit remaining after its expiry date will expire and will no longer be available for redemption, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
Rewear Credit cannot be sold or transferred to another person unless approved by The Rewear Edit.
Customers are responsible for keeping any Rewear Credit code or account information secure.
Purchases made wholly or partially using Rewear Credit remain subject to The Rewear Edit’s usual Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law.

11. Promotions & Discount Codes
From time to time, The Rewear Edit may offer promotional codes, discounts or special offers.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be combined and have no cash redemption value.
Any specific conditions or expiry dates applicable to a promotion will be disclosed with the offer.
12. Intellectual Property
The Rewear Edit name, branding, logo, original photographs, graphics, written content and other original website materials are owned by or licensed to The Rewear Edit.
They must not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without permission, except where permitted by law.
13. Prohibited Use
You must not use our website for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes, attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website, or use our content or services in a manner that infringes the rights of The Rewear Edit or another person.
14. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party providers for services including payment processing, website hosting, shipping and other functionality.
Use of those services may also be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and privacy practices.
15. Privacy
Personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy requirements.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The version published on our website at the time of a transaction will apply to that transaction, unless otherwise required by law.
Changes to these Terms will not retrospectively shorten the expiry period of Rewear Credit already issued.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws applicable in Queensland, Australia.
